Matt Yetter has deep roots in American music. He sings country blues and old time songs with the emotion of those roots. The jangle and slide of his National guitar shakes your bones compelling the body to move in a way invented by those very songs. When the harmonica joins in, the memory of another America is complete in story, sound, and rhythm.
Matt's audience is as ageless as his music. Young and old respond, with toe tapping, feet shuffling and all out dancing. Matt plays at many different venues around the Twin Cities from farmers markets, parks, coffee shops and taverns.
